Individual Results – Highlights
Another excellent meet for our Trailblazers – both our boys and our girls teams finished runner-up to Cannon, which was a very nice result in the team standings out of 5 teams. There were plenty of highlights:
– Jack placed 2nd in both the 200m (PR) and 100m – and he “volunteered” to run a leg of the 4x400m relay at the last minute
– Jesse won the 400m with a PR 55.70 and won the triple jump with another PR
– James and Jesse swept the long jump with two personal record state qualifying jumps
– Jackson set a big PR in the 1600m
– Bennett set a PR in the shot put
– Megan won the triple jump (state qualifying school record), long jump, and 100m, and was runner-up in the 200m
– Kasey set a PR (state qualifying) in the 400m
– Adina won the 3200m with a first-time PR, and set her 6th PR in a row in the 1600m
– Caroline set a PR in the 1600m
– Aubrey set a PR in the discus
– Ella set a PR in the shot put
– our relays were strong, especially boys 4×100, girls 4×200, and girls 4×400, which all narrowly missed school records
