Run for the Green!

Several of our middle school students represented Woodlawn in Davidson’s Run for Green in September, where 750 runners hit the streets and trails of Davidson. It was a great family event and many of our parents ran as well. The race is sponsored by Davidson Lands Conservancy that works to protect valuable land, educate the public about the benefits of conservation, and advocate on behalf of our ecosystems. Congratulations go out to 6th graders Adina and Ava for placing 2nd and 3rd place respectively in the 5K 11-14 age group! We are proud of you! Thank you to our lower school students and families for sponsoring a much-needed water stop.
