October 13: Woodlawn vs. Hickory Christian

A strong defensive game, thanks in part to new additions to the back line: Al W.’20 and Will Hedrick ’18, who normally play in the midfield, but switched things up to help shut down the Knights’ offense. Drew Hedrick ’16 led a concerted effort on defense that lasted the full 80 minutes and held the Knights to only eight goals. Bennett Kolls ’16 recorded four shots and ran the full width of the field as the lone forward. Nick Trovato ’19 recorded 12 saves in the game. Final score: 0-8, in favor of the Knights.
