Cross Country Teams Start Season Strong: Boys Capture Runner Up Spot, Girls Win
The Middle School harriers hosted their conference foes Monday Sept. 12 on Woodlawn’s 3k course. The boys earned runner-up position with a team score of 28, just behind Lake Norman Christian’s 19 points. Joey C. and Jackson M. led the Blazers with an impressive 1-2 finish and blistering fast 11:25 and 11:26 times on our challenging course.
The girls ran away with the win beating out Southlake Christian 13-23. Adina J. and Nadia R. led the girls with a strong 2-3 overall finish.
Both teams hit the trails again for what promises to be another exciting WPAA meet at Fisher Farm Monday, Sept. 19 at 4pm.
