Varsity Track & Field at Charlotte Country Day

Woodlawn had a limited roster competing at the Buccaneer Classic, but several athletes took advantage of the warm, clear conditions to set personal records. Freshman Ally Fleming had a breakthrough race in the 400m, setting a PR with a state qualifying time. Junior Jake Johnson also found success in the 400m with another state qualifying performance. Meanwhile at the Dogwood Invite in Charlottesville, Virginia, junior Quinn Schneider ran with some of the fastest milers in the nation, and rose to the occasion by posting the fastest 1600m time in the NCISAA this season.
