Thunder and Lightning at Riverbend Park in Hickory
Sept. 30, 2019 – The Trailblazers traveled to Riverbend Park to compete with 4 varsity teams – the boys race went off just fine, but the girls race was unfortunately canceled due to thunder/lightning in the area. The highlight was Jackson McGeough’s first win of the season – he outran Statesville Christian’s Adam Godwin to take the individual victory by 12 seconds. Gael Garza placed 16th in the race, followed by Ethan Mason’s 21st place finish.
