Welcome Volleyball Team!

Varsity Volleyball has been hard at work all summer with open gyms, team camp and even playing a little grass volleyball in my front yard. Our focus this past month has been on footwork, defense, serving and team chemistry. Each week a different grade is in charge of organizing and executing an off-campus team event. The team has ventured to Carolina Cones, Our Town Cinema and LKN mini-golf thus far and the bonding off the court will quickly translate to better communication on the court.

All of this time spent together is helping us prepare for upcoming matches against Stuart Cramer High School on Tuesday, August 25th and in the North Hills Tournament on Saturday, August 29th. Preseason competition is necessary to ensure that we are ready to take on SPAA Conference new-comers, University Christian, on Tuesday, September 1st.

In the meantime, we are always looking for family volunteers to help transport the team to games, work the scoreboard, scorebook, call lines or take admissions at the gate. Our schedule is available online; please reach out if you have any time to contribute.
