September 1: Woodlawn vs. Liberty Prep

Several players short due to injuries, the Middle School soccer team played a tremendous defensive game today in the (trail)blazing heat against Liberty Prep. Goalie Jacob B., ably assisted in the backfield by Joey C., recorded four saves. Woodlawn’s goal resulted from beautiful combination play between Jesse and Tanner. In the end, the lack of substitutions caught up with the Blazers, and Liberty Prep netted the go-ahead goal with only minutes remaining. A 2-1 loss, but undoubtedly a strong start to the season!
