September 16: vs. St. Stephens

The middle school team logged its first victory of the season with a resounding 5-0 victory over St. Stephens Lutheran School. RJ scored the sole point of the first half — and then Woodlawn came out blazing in the second half. Jesse scored a hat trick of three straight goals, and then RJ added his second of the day. Many other players also created offensive opportunities that totaled to a cumulative 22 shots for the game. On the other end of the field, Jacob sat comfortably in goal thanks to impenetrable defense from the back four.
