April 5: Woodlawn at University Christian

Woodlawn beat SPAA conference foe University Christian 3-2 in overtime. Lexi Navarro ’17 completed a hat trick with a 25-yard free kick straight into the goal with 1-1/2 minutes remaining in the second overtime period. Her first two goals were from a shot from the corner of the 18-yard box.midway through the first period; and a slotted home shot off of a perfectly weighted pass from Taylor Scott ’16 at the end of the opening period. Standout performances included eighth-grader Campbell L.’s confident debut as a left defender, Ally Ault ’16’s pairing with classmate Taylor in central defense, and fearless play on the left wing by Mary Van Horn ’19.
