March 22: Golf Tournament

The Blazers are on a roll; during their second match, the Varsity golfers scored 202 — four better than their first match. Captain Clayton Kolls ’18 shot a low score of 43 (a nine-stroke improvement over the first match), followed by Hank Grzeszczak ’18 with 48, Josh Earle ’18 with 53 (a one-stroke improvement over the first match), and Bennett Kolls ’16. Adam Simkowitz ’19 had set a personal goal of scoring at least one hole better than the triple-bogie maximum–which he did not he second hole, on his was to a 62. Taylor Loyd ’19 and Ella Williams ’19 showed great perseverance, scoring 63s. The other teams competing scored a 170, 183 and 192.
