August 19: Woodlawn vs CSD

Scrimmage Recap: The Trailblazers were able to get in some more preseason game experience with today’s scrimmage against the Community School of Davidson’s JV team. The team showed improved combination play out of the back, and we were able to connect some long balls to forward Jake Johnson ’17. In the end we were bested by CSD by a score of 9-3. Our goals came off break away runs from Jake Johnson ’17 (2) and team captain Drew Hedrick ’16 (1). As our season progresses the team will look to connect more passes through the middle of the field, and maintain possession of the ball.
