August 30: Woodlawn vs Christ the King

The Trailblazers traveled to Christ the King in their first away game of the season. The team had a solid warm-up, but were stunned by the Crusaders’ aggressive serves and could not rally back from a large deficit. Toward the end of the match sophomore setter, Abigail W. was able to make few offensive connections with senior, Amelia W. and earned seven kills. The ‘Blazers lost the match, 25-11, 25-10, 25-10. On Thursday, September 1, the team hosts SPAA Conference rival, University Christian, at 5:15pm.
