September 17: Woodlawn vs Hickory Christian

The Varsity volleyball team traveled to take on last year’s conference winner, Hickory Christian Academy. The Blazers came out strong in the first set, serving 100% and digging up 13 attacks from the Knights. The long rallies continued, with strong defense from the Blazers (26 digs in the second set; 15 digs in the third). Natalie Buechler ’16, Amelia Woodall ’17 and Morgan Klein ’19 led the defensive efforts.
