August 22: Woodlawn vs Monroe First Assembly

The Trailblazers hosted Monroe First Assembly Wildcats on Monday in their season opener. The team dropped the first set (19-25), but found their rhythm in the second two sets (25-15, 25-19). Going into their second set, the team started slowly and found themselves down (2-7). After the second timeout the team was still trailing (6-12), but the deficit didn’t scare off these ‘Blazers! With true team-first mentality, determination, and improved communication the Trailblazers won their fourth set and the match (26-24).
