August 20: Woodlawn vs North Hills

Preseason Game Recap: Improved combination play, and increased possession of the ball were marked refinements of our game during today’s match. At the end of the first half the score was 2-1 in favor of North Hill Christian, but kept close by a 25 yard lofted shot from Jake Johnson ’17. In the second half captain Drew Hedrick ’16 tallied another goal for the Trailblazers with a left footed shot from the top of the penalty box. The weather was very hot, and by the end of the contest both teams were worn down. The North Hill Eagles came away with the win by a score of 5-2. Nick Trovato ’19 recorded 16 saves in the game.
