September 3: Woodlawn vs. St. Mark

The Blazers played St. Mark’s yesterday, September 3, 2015. In the first set, Jessi D. and Laura P. had some great attacks at the net to bump up the score. Captain, Olivia D. had some great saves, as did Riley R. The Blazers however came up short the first set with a score of 8-25. The second set started off with powerful serving from Ginger J. Mary F. also contributed a few strong serves but St. Mark’s proved to be tough competition by winning the second set 11-25. The team will continue to focus on serves leading into our home game next Thursday against Statesville Montessori.
