September 3: Woodlawn vs Statesville Christian

The Varsity Volleyball team traveled to Statesville Christian last night for their second conference match of the season. Unfortunately, it was another tough loss as we never quite found our footing. Plagued with missed opportunities on defense and a few miscommunications, the team dropped three straight sets; 12-25, 13-25, 15-25. However, positive takeaways were from Kelsie M., Zoey M., and Natalie B. who all served for 100% on the evening. Leading the offense was Amelia W., with 5 kills and 3 blocks. Seventh grader, Arielle T. contributed two aces, three kills and five digs. Last night we faced some fierce competition, but look forward to focusing on the process of the game and improving internally every day.
