September 3: Woodlawn vs. St. Mark

The Middle School soccer team lost to a tough St. Mark team who went up early. Strong defense from Kate and Kayla kept them away from net giving Joey the chance to put a handful of shots on goal early finishing with seven total including a penalty kick off the right post. Jesse put seven shots on goal, none of which could find the back of the net. RJ almost had a deep goal in the second half and strong play from Tanner and Logan up from created countless opportunities in front. Jacob saved ten and created some offense with great punts from the back. Unable to find the net after countless opportunities the team lost 5-0, a score non reflective of the strong offensive and defensive efforts. Good luck to them in their following game next Thursday!
