March 8: Woodlawn vs. Charlotte Country Day School

Still recovering from injuries, the Blazers showed remarkable improvement against a much larger Charlotte Country Day School team, challenging successfully throughout the full 80 minutes. Lexi Navarro ’17 scored the Blazers’ only goal on a 25-yard free kick midway through the the second half. Goalie Alsu Johnson ’19 looked impressive with a number of saves. The final score, 5-1 in favor of CCDS, doesn’t reflect the Blazers’ consistent and determined level of play.
