March 14: Woodlawn vs. Davidson Day School

An exciting start to the varsity golf season, with Hank Grzeszczak ’19 scoring a 42 — the lowest round of all contestants — in his varsity golf debut. Team captain Clayton Kolls ’18 got hot down the stretch and scored a 52, Josh Earle came in with a 54, and Bennet Kolls ’16 smashed his patented long drives to a 58. Adam Simkowitz ’19, Taylor Loyd ’19, and Ella Williams ’19 all played with great attitude. The Blazers lost, 183-206, but also won — receiving nice compliments from the Davidson Day coaches and parents about the sportsmanship of all of our players.
